We come see you! If you would like to visit a facility we have our clinic located in the historic district of Longwood Florida.
Our goal is to keep our patients as independent and healthy as possible.
Lifecare Therapy is proud to operate out of one of Longwood’s most cherished landmarks — the historic Edward Warren Henck House. Built in the late 1800s, this home once belonged to Longwood’s founder, Edward Henck, who arrived in the area in 1873 under the Homestead Act. His land grant included much of what is now the Longwood Historic District.
The house, believed to have been constructed between 1875 and 1881, has been a standing piece of Central Florida history for nearly 150 years. Henck lived here until the devastating “Great Freeze” of 1895 forced many Floridians, including him, to temporarily relocate north. He returned to Longwood in 1914 and remained in this home until his passing in 1930.
Over the years, the house has been lovingly cared for and restored by a series of devoted owners. Its vintage charm and historical character have been preserved.
Today, we’re honored to continue the legacy of this home as a space dedicated to care, healing, and community.
